Jack Irwin Clouse joined our mom in heaven on Sunday evening. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to John Robert and Mildred (Ebey) Clouse. He graduated from NW Classen in1958 then attended the University of Oklahoma where he met our mom, Darla Dies Clouse and later married her in August 1962. Dad was an Army Veteran, member of Elks BPOE Lodge 417 and of Masonic Lodge 36 as well as a lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Dad was one of a kind. He was ornery, funny, a bit sarcastic, loved his Sooners and loved a good game of cards and watching his grandchildren grow up! Dad was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob, survived by 2 sons, Todd (Cathy), Kevin (Jackie and her family,) and daughter Melisa (Steve Tucker). He was GRANDAN to Ashley (Justin,) Blaine (Jennifer,) Chelsea Berry (Ryan,) Cayla, Max, Zach Clouse and Landry & Taylor Tucker and great granddaughter, Aubree (and her baby sister coming in the spring of 2021) and great grandson Austin Berry. Dad was surrounded by lifelong friendships along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends. Services for dad will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel with interment following at Rose Hill Burial Park. The service will be live on our facebook page @BillMerrittFuneralService.
