Guy Covington

Guy Covington went to be with his Lord on October 28, 2012 at his home in Oklahoma after many years of failing health. Guy was born in Norman, Oklahoma on December 26, 1921. He graduated from Central High School and joined the USAF where he served during WWII. Guy worked as a salesman for Warner Alemite for over 30 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. Guy married his only love Mary Ellen Webb on March 9, 1942. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen, son Gary , his wife Ann, son Rod and his wife Kathy. Grandchildren include Christopher and his wife Melinda and Courtney Bowlin and her husband Kerry, Chris and Josh sons of Rod and Kathy. Great grandchildren include Cierra, daughter of Chris and Melinda Covington. Graveside services to be provided by Bill Merritt Funeral Home at Rose Hill Cemetery 2 PM Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012. A visitation will be at Bill Merritt Funeral Home Wednesday Oc. 31, 2012 from noon to 8 pm. We wish to thank Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.
