Gary Rodgers "Jackson"

Gary Rodgers “Jackson”, 67, of OKC, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2016. Gary was born in OKC on Sept. 15, 1948 to H.R. and Margret Jackson. He served in the U.S. Army as a Drill Sergeant. Jackson served a tour in Vietnam. He was a recipient of two Bronze Stars. Jackson was an avid golfer and he loved his Thunder and OU football. He is survived by his wife Linda Jackson of OKC, His brother Robert “Bobby” Glen Jackson and Wife Geri of Stanford CT, His Niece Jill Ferrell and Husband Jeff and their 3 children of OKC, His daughters Kristi Edrington and Husband Logan of Washington State, Kim McCoy and Husband Chris of Midwest City, Kelly Fogarty and Husband Aaron of Midwest City, Kerry Jackson and Husband Daniel Bennett of McCloud, His grandchildren Kylie and Caylin McCoy, Ethan and Tierney Fogarty, Richard, Isaac and Aiden Bennett, His stepchildren Jim Slaughter and Wife Toyie, Dr. Tracy Calamaio and Husband John, Dale Ann Slaughter and Partner Lanie James, Stephanie Wilson and Husband Wade, His step grandchildren Terrel, April, Taylor, Jessie, Desiree, Hunter, Stormi, Cheyenne, and Sloan, His beloved pets Peanut, Max, Itzy, and Punkin. Jackson was Preceded in death by his parents H.R. and Margret Jackson, His beloved dog Thumper, and 2 beloved cats Fred and Ethel.
