Eva O'Dell

Eva June O'Dell, 91, passed away March 7, 2013. She was born Sept. 27, 1921 in Haywood, OK to Joe and Freda Hall. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Zelma Marie Smith, and her husband, Woodrow O'Dell. Eva worked in a sandwich shop in OKC where she met Woodrow O'Dell. They were married, May 11, 1940. Eva was a homemaker and devout member of Crossings Community Church. She loved cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her grandson, James Woodrow Smith and wife Krista; granddaughter, Debbie Marie Schneider, husband Jon, and her five children; two sisters, Lafern Brooks and Thelma Thompson; and one brother, Glen "Buddy" Franklin. Visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service from 8 am to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm.
