Esta Smith passed away March 5, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born May 12, 1930 in Oklahoma City to Ralph and Lois Ada Holliman Sandy. Esta lived in OKC all of her life except for the 2 years she lived in Anchorage, AK. Esta was a longtime member of Resurrection Free Methodist Church and volunteered for many years at Skyline Ministries. She had been a bookkeeper but spent most of her life being a homemaker caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert E. Lee Smith and 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Esta is survived by her daughter, Bunny Kimbrough and husband, Jim of San Antonio, TX, son, Robert “Rusty” Smith and wife, Valerie of Edmond, 3 grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Rachel Crutsinger (Hunter) and Jessica Smith. She is also survived by her BFF of 70 years, Alta Rhinehart. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
