It is with great sadness that the family of Ellen Grace Roach (Campbell) announces her passing, Friday, August 16, 2019 after a lengthy illness. Ellen was born September 25, 1940 in Odin, Illinois and grew up in Drumright, Oklahoma. She had a beautiful soprano voice which she shared in church for as long as she was able. She loved her family and friends and was a fabulous hostess and enjoyed having and preparing for gatherings in her home where she created many beautiful memories for the ones she loved. Ellen was very active in the Light India Ministries and she and Thurvon both served on the board for many years. She loved the Lord and her family with passion and shared her faith and wisdom joyfully with her family, friends and anyone she met who needed encouragement. Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Thurvon and their children, Sharee (Joel) Furlong, Lori (Tony) Roach-Jones, and Joi (James) Almy, and will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Audrey (Andy), Melinda (Jeff), Jessica (Colby), Kerri (Raymond), Robert (Jamiya), Victoria and Christopher, and great-grandchildren Danique, Miko, Manuel, Ida, Isaac, and Kolbi Lynne and her children in love Paul (Susan) Nair. Ellen was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Audrey Campbell, brother Don Campbell, and sister Edith Campbell. A funeral service in memory of Ellen will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 1pm at Guardian West Chapel 5820 NW 41st Street, Warr Acres with Rev. Mark Stapp officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Oilton, Oklahoma cemetery.
