Ed, who made his home in Mustang, OK, was born in Bellefonte, PA, January 23, 1943, the son of Edgar R. Mallory and Sarah Simmons Mallory, who preceded him in death. He died December 30, 2017, in Yukon, OK, surrounded by his family. Ed spent his life working as an electrical engineer, a quality manager, a Director of Quality Assurance at NCR Wichita, and Vice-President of Quality for BancTec Corporation. His real passions were amateur radio, Flying (full-scale and RC), and trains. At the time of his death, he was restoring WWII radios and radio equipment. Married to his childhood sweetheart, Colleen Lewis Mallory, he is survived by his wife and his children, Sherilyn Mallory Stanley (Ron), Denver; Shawn Summers Solley (David) Morgantown, WV; and Michael Summers (Janye), Colorado Springs. One child, Matthew Summers, preceded him in death. He also leaves nine grand-children: Patrick, Sarah and Ian Donaldson; Andrew and Sean Summers; Cameron and Justin Solley; Kaitlynd Summers, and Kolton Taylor. His family especially thanks the staff of Canadian Valley Hospital for their tireless skill and care during Ed’s illness. A memorial service will be held at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel, Friday, January 5, 2018 at 4:00pm
