Earline Sue Shriver, 95, was born October 6, 1929 in Oklahoma City to Earl and Eva Oard and passed away on December 15, 2024 in Oklahoma City. She was the second of four children. She graduated from Deming (New Mexico) High School in 1948. She met Joe Shriver at a bowling alley, and they were married on April 4, 1953. They raised two sons and were married 59 years before he passed in 2012. They were members at Grace United Methodist Church and then Putnam City Methodist Church. She was involved in Rainbow Girls and Boy Scouts. She is survived by her sons Randy (Becky) of Bethany and Gary (Lesa) of Yukon; grandchildren Tawnya (John) Woodworth, Leslee (Daniel) Baker, Shawn Shriver, and Ricky (Stephanie) Shriver; six great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara Bowlin and Gloria (Jimmy) Keeler; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Joe; brother Don Oard; brothers-in-law Bob Bowlin, Wendell Turley, and Jack Ferguson; and sister-in-law Ruth Ann Ferguson. Services are scheduled for December 23rd at 2:00 p.m., Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway. Visitation will be 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on December 22nd at the same location.
