Donna Bartlett

Donna Mae Bartlett, 85, was born May 1, 1927 to Elmer and Annis Woods in New Sharon, Iowa. Donna then moved to Oklahoma in 1969. After her husband passed away she continued to live on her own in her lovely home until death. This was very important to not only her but to her family as well. Donna enjoyed watching our Thunder Basketball team and Nascar. She retired from Bethany General Hospital after 20 years of employment there and retired again from Integris Southwest after 10 years. She passed away September 11, 2012 and will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her husband Afton, her parents Elmer and Annis Woods and brother James Woods. She is survived by her children and their spouses : Carol Ann Morris and husband Vic Morris, Roger Bartlett and wife Gloria Bartlett, and Dottie Sue Hill and husband Rick Hill. She is also survived by many grandchildren : Mary Jo Hibler, Kirk Morris, Bobbi Jo Harmon, Blayne Bartlett, and Miranda Terry and even great grandchildren Paige, Cassie, A.J., Lane, Aspen, and Clayton. Donna also left behind her adorable companion and sidekick Cookie. Visitation will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at Bill Merritt Funeral Service from 12- 8 pm. A funeral service will be held to honor Donna’s life Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
