Donald "Dj" Jacob Denny

Donald Jacob “DJ” Denny of Oklahoma City passed from this life on August 19, 2022 at the age of 30 years young. DJ was born April 26, 1992 to Elizabeth Bassett and Bryon Denny, but it was David Bassett who truly played the role of the father. David took us under his wing and took care of our family by loving us with his great big heart. While raising us, he taught us how to have just as big of a heart as he did. Everyone who knew DJ knows how huge his heart truly was. DJ was a character and he enjoyed making people laugh, playing pool, singing, poker, video games, putt putt, disc golf and enjoyed time with his family and friends. DJ is preceded in death by his grandmother Dodie French, coworkers and close childhood friends that were like family. Leaving to mourn by his untimely passing is his mother and father, Elizabeth and David Bassett, Biological father Bryon Denny, grandmother Geraldine Bassett, grandfather Don French, sisters Stormie Denny, Olivia Bassett and Ariana Hatley, brothers, Tryston and Kegan Hatley as well as a host of other family and friends.

DJ was deeply loved by so many and will forever be missed.
