Carl Liles, Jr. passed away Monday, August 23, 2010. He was born in Independence , Arkansas on November 12, 1924. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife Betty, son Koy and wife Josepha Liles, daughter Jacinth Harms, brothers Ralph and wife Jessie Liles, Mitch and wife Jo Liles, sister Janice and husband Jack Treat, grandson Alexander Harms and numerous nieces and nephews. Carl will also be missed by his dear friends that were like family, George and Vicki Hopkins, Hazel Gentry, Manuel and Annette Ruiz, Teri and Tom Northcott, Lance and Carol Rowland, and Rick and Virginia Whipple. Carl served in the Army in both WWII and Korea . He was self-employed as a building contractor for over 50 years, and he and Betty enjoyed 63 years of marriage. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Association. Service will be held at Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel at 10am on Thursday, August 26, 2010. Viewing will be Wednesday from 4pm to 9pm.
