Bobby Jones

Bobby Lee Jones, 87, of Binger Oklahoma, died August 26, 2015, at Corn Nursing Home surrounded by family. He was born January 10, 1928, in Amherst, Texas, the son of the late Erby and Beatrice Jones. He was the oldest of 3 siblings. On February 28, 1982, he married Constance Juanita Newton, who survives.He graduated from Amarillo High School.He drove a truck for ICX for 34 years then Roadway for 5 years. He retired in January 1993. In his spare time he was rebuilding houses for rental property. When not working he enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and puttering in his workshop. When he was a member of Swan Lake Baptist Church he was Treasurer and on various committees. He was a force to be reckoned with. Just ask anyone! He became a member of Binger Baptist Church in 2010.He is survived by his wife Constance Jones (Connie), sister Peggy and husband T.W. Holman of Amarillo, Texas, sons Archie Jones and wife Sue of Amarillo, Texas, Billy Jones of Levelland, Texas. Sons Josh Jones of Binger, Oklahoma and Justin Jones of Hinton, Oklahoma. Daughters Beth Newton, Melody Louton, Karla Jones of Binger, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Mandy Toney, Rick Jones, Dan Jones, C.J. Boley, Layne Louton, Brianna Jones, Kyle Boley, Cadence Hester, Caleb Radford, Martinez Jones, Tylor Richey, Teagan Jones and 7 great grandchildren.

Mr Jones was preceded in death by his parents Erby and Beatrice Jones, his brother Don Jones, his daughter Amber Jones, his step-daughter DeeDee Lundegreen, step-son Robin Stidger. Visitation will be Sunday August 30, 2015 at Turner Funeral Home in Binger from 1-9 pm. Services will be held at Binger Baptist Church in Binger, Oklahoma on Monday August 31, at 10 am and buried in Amarillo Texas at Memorial Park Cemetery at 3:30 pm.
