Robert Lee Anglin, 92, passed away on March 19, 2023 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born on June 10, 1930 to the late Howard D. and Goldie M. (Morgan) Anglin. He was the loving husband of Martha (Thompson) Anglin for 74 years before she passed in 2021. He was the oldest and last of four children.
Robert started working right out of high school at the family business, at Farmers Produce in Springdale, driving trucks and hauling chickens.
His family owned a dairy farm in Cave Springs where he would milk 80 cows twice a day and also farmed 100 acres where they raised beef cattle and hogs.
After farming he worked at RTW in Bentonville for 30 years.
When he retired from RTW, he went to work for Silver Dollar City as a street sweeper for 10 years. He enjoyed being around people and helping them.
Following his years at Silver Dollar City, he came home to Siloam Springs and worked security at a manufacturing company. When he finally retired, he and Martha were part of a coffee drinkers club at McDonalds, in Siloam several mornings a week.
His favorite hobby was to cut wood and sell it to artist at the Bella Vista Craft Fair and surrounding area fairs. He was honored by Bella Vista after 40 years of exhibiting.
He is survived by his son, David Anglin and his wife, Laurie and Pam Shepard and her husband, Dwayne; 9 grandchildren, Chris, Aaron, Maggie, Scott, Clint, Adam, Kaely, Brett, and Lexi; 21 great grandchildren; and one, great-great grandchild. A visitation will be on Friday, March 24 from 12-1pm with a graveside service at 2pm in Elm Springs Cemetery.
