Phil Ervin "Pete" Monnington

Phil Ervin “Pete” Monnington, 68, of Bentonville passed away Monday, July 01, 2019 following a battle with lung cancer. Pete was born September 4, 1950 in Lexington, Nebraska to the late Ervin Marston Monnington and Billye Jean Hukill Monnington. His loving wife of 45 years, Carolyn Monnington also preceded him. Pete enjoyed watching football, playing golf and especially his work! He retired from a 35 year career as an Area Manager in a Distribution Center for Walmart. Mr. Monnington especially cherished the time shared with his grandchildren and family. Survivors include his son, Scott Monnington of Bentonville; daughter, Ginnie Soloman and husband, Nolan, of Ozark, Missouri; 3 granddaughters, Alexis, Bradie and Brooklyn Soloman; his sister, Linda Oliver and husband, Rick, of Springdale; numerous extended family members, associates and dear friends.
