Nona Lea Holm

IN THE CARE OF
Nona Lea Holm, of Sulphur Springs, passed away on July 12, 2015. She was born on June 3, 1921 in Sulphur Springs to the late Harry and Clara Heckman. She was the wife of the late Ralph Holm.
Nona was a homemaker who was active in her community. She was a devoted member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a charter member of the Friendly Neighbors Club. She was a member of the Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. In 1941, she was crowned Apple Blossom Queen.
Survivors include children, David Holm (Joyce) of Salado, Tx., Gerald Holm (Cheryl) of Gentry, Shirley Spencer (Stephen) of Bentonville; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Sharon Lea Holm; grandson, Gerald Jason Holm; and siblings, Madge Winchester and Joe Heckman.
