Marc was an incredibly hard working man, and he held several jobs throughout his life. He grew up in Highland, Illinois. It was at Western Illinois University that he met his wife of 31 years, Arlene. It was while living in Chicago that Marc began working in the banking and the information security industry. They later moved to Cincinnati where they lived for ten years. Marc worked with PricewaterhouseCooper LLP and Fifth Third Bank. He also enjoyed volunteering with the Loveland Symmes Fire Department Emergency Services Unit. His joining the Privacy Office at Walmart brought the family to Bentonville. His most recent work sent the family to the San Francisco Bay area, where Marc was a Director of Privacy with VISA.
His pride and joy, however, were his daughters, Anelia and Melissa. He was a loving and generous father, and he loved spending any spare time with his family. He also enjoyed driving in his Jeep any chance he could get. Marc battled illness for two years, and he relied on the love and support of his family and friends during that time. The family is incredibly grateful for the staff at Mercy Hospital, as well as their church family for getting them through such a difficult time. Marc will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Marc is preceded in death by: his parents, L. John and Shirley Wise; and brother-in-law, Daniel Kampwerth.
