John Morris Wright, Jr., age 70 of Houston, Texas and formerly of Bentonville died Wednesday, August 26th at St. Luke’s Texas Medical Center. John was born to John M. Wright, Sr. and Fern Rude Wright on March 11, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was employed by Masterson Design Jewelers in Houston.
John is survived by his father, John M. Wright Sr. of Bentonville; 3 brothers, Bill Wright and his wife Marty of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Ralph Wright and his wife Helen of Springfield, Missouri and Richard Grubb of Siloam Springs; a sister, Julia Hoffman of San Diego, California; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Wright is also survived by special friends, Stanley Grier and Eddie Fersch of Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Fern Rude Wright Grubb; his stepmother, Lela Wright; maternal grandparents, Jay and Flora Rude and paternal grandparents Clarence and Dema Wright.
