It is with great sadness that the family of Joe Mirch announces his death at the age of 62. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by his family.
Joe was born on March 22nd, 1962 in San Francisco, California to Patrick and Eileen Mirch. He lived a full and meaningful life, full of love, kindness, and compassion. He was marked by a strong sense of love, family, pride, and always putting others before himself. Joe was an incredibly selfless man. Over the years, Joe built lasting relationships with friends, colleagues, and family, leaving a legacy for everyone to be proud of. Nothing made him more proud than his family–his wife, Irene of 38 years, his two sons Patrick and Christopher, his daughter in-law, Rachel, and his most recent love of being a grandfather to twins.
Joe built a career with Arvest Bank for more than two decades. He held many positions within Arvest, but most recently was the Senior Vice President of Credit Administration with Arvest Equipment Finance. Joe earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Phoenix University. In addition to his many professional accomplishments, he enjoyed biking and hiking, playing golf with his boys, vacationing to the beach, and watching sports.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick D. Mirch and Eileen Mirch, and his brother, John Patrick Mirch (Laurie Mirch Dougherty). He is survived by his wife Irene, sons Patrick (Rachel) and Christopher, and two grandchildren John and Nora Mirch. In addition, he is survived by siblings Mary Mirch, Katherine Hainley (Hal), Patricia Weber (Scott), and Michael Mirch (Mark), in addition to many nieces and nephews whom he adored.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Stephen’s Benevolent Conference, an organization that was dear to Joe. Checks can be made out to St. Stephen Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
