Eldon Charles Von Holdt, 90, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Born to the late Helmuth Von Holdt and Lillian Watje on November 11, 1933, Eldon will be so dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A United States Military veteran and Dunwoody College of Technology graduate, Eldon was a talented mechanical engineer; working on jet engines for the Air Force, and eventually becoming an engineer at AT&T for many years.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, Helmuth and Lillian Von Holdt; his son, Joel Von Holdt; his brother, and his sister.
He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty one years, Phyllis Splinter Von Holdt; two sons, Jeffrey Von Holdt of Iowa and Lonnie Von Holdt of Colorado, and two grandchildren.
