Sarah Lynn Rhea, 35, married to Joshua D Rhea, since 2007, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 3, 2019 at 4:14am. Long time resident of Harrisonville, MO, born February 24,1984 in Overland Park, Kansas. She was the precious daughter of Mike and Cindy Gregory
Sarah graduated from Ray-Pec High School Class of 2002 and went on to earn her Associates Degree in Business from Longview Community College. From there, she went on to Park College for more courses in Business. She then went on to start her business career with North American Savings Bank in Grandview, MO. She was promoted to several positions, over her 12 year career, within the company. She then moved onto Mazuma Credit Union as Instructional Designer. The job that she truly thrived in is Mazuma Experience Advocate. She coordinated numerous events to benefit both people and organizations in the community, such as Christmas in October, KC Pet Project, Sporting KC, The Ronald McDonald House and many more. She touched so many lives in this position and did her best to make a difference in their lives for good. Sarah loved everyone and no one was a stranger. She strived every day to connect with people and went out of her way to include all.
Sarah’s passions and hobbies include cycling, hip-hop dance, Zumba instructor, painting, walking Florida's beaches, walking and taking her favorite hound, Ace, to the dog park. She loved hanging out with and watching movies with the dear old husband, animal rescue, family gatherings, corporate challenges, volunteering shelving books at the Cass County Library with her friend Angie and fashion. Another passion of Sarah’s was her high heel collection! She was very compassionate and loving, Sarah and her husband, Josh, worked in the Children's Department at South Haven, and also was a past Chairman of the Family Life Committee where she put together the very first “South Haven Has Talent event”. She enjoyed English and Literature, Soul Cycling and especially loves spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her beloved husband Joshua of Harrisonville MO. Parents Mike and Cindy Gregory, brother Kellan Gregory and wife Abby. Josh’s parents, Jerry and Kathy Rhea, brother-in-law, Justus Rhea and wife Mindy and 5 nieces and nephews, Cassidy, Grace and Reed Gregory and Tanner and Jacob Rhea.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00pm, Celebration of Life will be at 2:00pm at South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Blvd, Belton, MO, 64012. Graveside service will be held immediately after at Belton Cemetery, 710 S Scott Ave, Belton, MO
