Raina Marie Walker, 32, of Raymore, MO, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 3, 2011 at Menorah Medical Center after a sudden illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at Heart of Life Church, 800 SW 150 Hwy., Lee's Summit, MO. Burial in Raymore Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tues., at the church. Memorial contributions suggested to Advice and Aid Pregnancy Center, 11031 W 75th Terrace, Shawnee, KS 66214. Raina was born Jan 21, 1979 in Kansas City, MO, to Charles and Jackie West. She was a beautiful Christian mother, wife, sister, daughter, granddaughter, teacher, and friend. She taught at Hogan Preparatory Academy and formerly taught at Shull Elementary in Raymore. She was a member of the Heart of Life Church and did volunteer work with Advice and Aid Pregnancy Center. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Everett (Jack) Lauderdale; Tom and Virginia West. She is survived by husband, Eric Walker, and daughters Alicia West, and Haley Walker, of the home; her mother, Jackie West; fathers, Charles R. West and Don Douglas; father-in-law, Rev. Don and wife, June Walker; grandparents, Donna Lauderdale, Don and Norma Walker, Kenneth and Eleanor Chinn; 7 sisters, and 2 brothers.
