Mary Elaine Spear, age 74 passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Mary was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She loved arts and crafts, as well as collecting and buying and selling antiques. It was great enjoyment for her being around family and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents George and Jane Hart, sister Barbara Chaffin and brothers Denis Hart and Bob Hart.
She is survived by her husband Nick Spear; sisters Carol (Dwayne) Wade-Katzer and Vickie (Chris) Peterson; step children Angie (Les) Scofield, Tim (Angie) Jones, and Heidi Spear; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and close friends. Also including her two dogs, Bentley and Malik. All who loved her very much.
A celebration of life service for Mary will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Life Quest Church, 1400 N. Scott Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012.
