Kenneth Earl Nichols was born July 30, 1934 to the parents of Russell and Ruth Nichols in Kansas City, Kansas. He joined the United States Navy in 1951 at the age of 16, and served during the Korean War. Kenneth left the service in 1962 and met his wife, Margaret Williams, who were married March 4, 1962. Kenneth worked as an over the road trucker driver for Yellow Freight until his retirement in 1989. Kenneth was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 41, the Belton Masonic Lodge, and Ararat Shrine.
He was preceded in death by both parents, sisters Mary Lou Darnell and Margaret Phillips, and brother Harry. He is survived by his wife, Margaret of the home; three sons, Jeff, Belton, MO, Jerry and wife, Stephane, Belton, MO, Jason and wife, Stephanie, Raymore, MO; brother, Jack, Charleston, SC; Fourteen grandchildren, Katie, Blake, Jeffery, Kenneth, Madison, Dyllan, Morgan, Izaac, Christian, Stephen, Margaret, Allie, Elizabeth, and Victoria; Two great-grandchildren, Ayalia and Jordan.
