Janet Louise Sharp

Janet Louise McKee Sharp, 93 ½, died February 19, 2023 at KC Hospice House. She was born September 10, 1929 in Martin City, Missouri, the daughter of Daniel E & Edyth M. (Goodale) Burke. She was baptized as an infant. Janet married Russell M. McKee on November 26, 1959 and remained with him until his passing. She later married Glen E. Sharp on March 18, 1989. She worked at the Bank of Belton, where she retired from after many years. Her favorite hobby was quilting and she crafted numerous masterpieces. She was dedicated to her family and loved hosting family get togethers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and her four siblings Robert "Bob" Burke, Kenneth "Kenny" Burke, James "Jim" Burke and Donna "Burke" Davis. Janet is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 12pm on Saturday, February 25, 2023 followed directly by the funeral at 1pm. Interment will be at the Belton Cemetery.
