Beverly Claudine Swadley (née Wyatt), 90, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024. Born on November 3, 1933, in the same beloved town, Beverly was a beacon of strength and faith throughout her life.
A graduate of Belton High School, Beverly dedicated her career to serving others at the Beautiful Savior Nursing Home, retiring after many years of heartfelt service. Her commitment to her work was second only to her devotion to her family and her unwavering faith in God.
Beverly was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, John J. Wyatt and Flossie M. Wyatt, her husband, R.B. Swadley, her daughter, Gayle Watts, her four siblings and her grandson, Christopher Smith. Her loving spirit lives on through her daughters, Melinda Smith and Shelia Ford; her three surviving siblings, her grandchildren, Jason Smith, Jeremy Prince, Joshua Prince, Jessica Prince, Richard Ford, James Flynn, and Stephen Flynn; and her cherished 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Beverly's life was marked by her loving nature, her dedication to her family, and her enduring faith. Her memory will be treasured and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Beverly's name. The Swadley family extends their gratitude to McGilley & George Funeral Home for their compassionate assistance during this time.
