Frank and I remember all the good times we had with "Uncle Jim". Camping at Indian Lake, boating on Lake Ontario.  He was always happy and smiling!  Love Nan and Frank

I have known the Captain since about age 10 and more personal for the past 31 years.  My husband Mark, & Jim took my mom & his 50' foot boat The Jimille to Coo's Bay OR from Alameda, CA.  It was one of the memorable trips Jim & my hubby took.  The waves were huge and yet many a story to tell at the camp fire.  I went clam digging with Jim and caught a claim double the size of both my hands.  He was a precious partner in my mom's life and like a step father to me. I love ya Jim, will miss you.  May grace be upon you.

Uncle Jim had a laugh like no other!  He always brought fun with him.  He loved his family.  He is in all my childhood memories of gatherings in Chili, NY.  He will be missed.  Love and Prayers to Margie, Holly and Bonnie.

Love you you grandad! I'll always remember how much you cared for me and loved me. You taught me men should always have a good pair of shoes on and that it's important to present yourself with pride and dignity. You'll always be in our hearts and we miss you.

I remember Jim very well, and we had many serious talks at our family camping at Lake Tahoe. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was considerate of everyone. I for one will miss him and always remember him. Rest In Peace Jim until we meet again on the flip side  . You were much loved and admired, Pat Addis

Today would have been Dads 88th birthday, so I light this candle to celebrate the day you were born Dad.   Ill miss our weekly talks on the phone reminiscing about the past and what the latest weather is doing. Thank you for all the important lessons, saying my bed time prayers, calling my friends, taking care of myself and the things I've been blessed with.  Thank you for all the fun vacations of boating and camping.  And always being there when I needed you.  Happy Birthday Dad, I love you. :)

Thanks for the special telephone call. Obviously you realized that your father and I had a special relationship going.

It's no small thing in a man's live to reawaken friendships of his youth. I can remember most of my teenage friends but struggle with names of my military years and later on work mates. Why is that? Jim will always be a special memory and person in my life. He seeked me out via Classmates.com and I will always be grateful that he did. What special moments we enjoyed over the last years of his life.  I take great solace in knowing in Jim's final days that he knew that I appreciated him as a special friend.. God speed, Jim Moran, I will miss you.

Dear Margie,
Thanks for informing me of your dad's passing. I was sorry to  hear about the loss of your father and I wish to express my sincere sympathy to you, Holly and Bonnie.  As you know, Jim and I reignited our friendship after over 60 years apart and we enjoyed reminiscing about our youth in Rochester and the many mutual friends of our teenage years. I will miss him now as much as a I would a brother.  It was a particular pleasure for me to research your family's genealogy and Jim delighted in passing on the information to his daughters.
