Yvonne C Evans

March 11, 1962 to Sydney L. Evans and Catherine

Hickson (Evans) Roberts who resided in College Park,

GA. Her parents moved to Adamsville, GA where

she attended Elementary School (being near 3

grandparents: Wilson and Donnie M. Hickson and

Rosa Evans). Her mother became a single

parent Jan. 1970 thus they were able to come to

Riverside, California, 1977. Moved to Los Angeles

and upon graduating Locke High School, she ventured

to Atlanta, GA to attend Clarke College: Majoring in

Math, Minor Computer Science (5.5 yrs). She gave birth

to Anthony Dwayne Evans, July 1983 (in Texas). They

lived with Grandma in Long Beach, CA until she went

to live with her dad in Seattle, Washington:

1990. Von moved back to Atlanta, GA with her Auntie

to help care for our Auntie, 1995. Tired of living alone,

she came to live with Denise in Bellflower, CA. She

and her son Anthony lived together there, until she

passed May 07, 2020. She leaves to mourn her mother:

Catherine Hickson Roberts and MSGT Harry Roberts,

her son Anthony S. Evans; one sister

Treyonne B. Smith (Evans) 3 Aunties: Mamie Hickson,

Charlsee M. Long; and Louise (Evans) Owen; One Uncle:

Melvin Long, Cousins 13 plus. She was preceded

by her brother Leonardo (2018) Evans; her father

and 3 grandparents.
