I came to know Wayne  through his first son, Nathan. Always full of life and smiles at the Lakewood camp of the Gideons International prayer breakfast on those Saturdays. We had conversations occasionally when we met in his son’s home. He was a good man but above all, he knew the Lord. May the grace of the Lord be multiplied in the life of Faith, his wife, and the family he left behind. Wayne, good night and until the morning at the feet of Jesus Christ!

Uncle Wayne was truly one of the kindest men I’ve known. His smile and joy will be missed.

I’ve known Wayne and Faith since I was 18 years old. Over  35 years . These people were the best example of a great marriage, great parents and wonderful people I ever have known .
My heart is sad and he will be missed.

Such a beautiful tribute to such a beautiful, kind and open hearted dear man. I am so glad we got to be part of all the VanDeBrake Family sharing my memories with Wayne and Faith on some special family trips. I will always treasure those times but will especially treasure our Thanksgiving Day at their home. We are so sorry to hear of your loss.  Wayne's son Mark and his family have become a special part of our spiritual growth and life in general!  We did not know Wayne or his wife, but we are blessed by his legacy through Mark and his family.
