Joseph Tharaniyil

Joseph Tharaniyil, known as “Jose, Papachachen, Kunape” was born on October 1st, 1945 to the late Mathai Varghese and the late Annama Varghese of the Tharaniyil House, Arakuzha, Thodupuzha. After graduating with his B.A from Normal College, Muvattupuza he went on to get his Masters in Economics from SB College, Chagnassary and his B.E.D from Mar Evanius College, Thiruvandapuram. He was a Professor, Vice President of International Banking, and successful Entrepreneur. Jose married Monikutty (Molly) on June 13th, 1974 and immigrated to Los Angeles, California in 1977. He lived a life of hard work and dedication which has now become his legacy. Jose lived his life to the fullest and made sure everyone around him had a smile on his face. His captivating personality made everyone want to be next to him. Jose is survived by his wife Molly, daughter Leena, son George, son-in law John, and grandchildren Jacob and Sophia.
