The sun rose on July 10, 1927 in Huntington Beach, California, a day the world became a little brighter. John grew up in Los Alamitos, California, and later moved to Clearwater, California.
In September of 1945, John was drafted in the American Army Air Corp., where he became a Glider Mechanic with the 3502d AAF BU Squadron Q. He received a World War II Victory Medal and Army of Occupational Medal Japan.
After being honorably discharged as an astounding serviceman, he met and immediately married the love of his life Elviria, the one he would never let get away. Together they started a life in Paramount, California, where John became a Foundry Worker, purchased their home in Downey, California, and retired after decades of hard work.
John would do anything for his family, friends and community. He loved to golf, bowl, travel all over the world, coach little league, volunteer at his church St. Dominic Savio as a Lead Usher and above all fish. John was more than an avid fisherman, he was remarkable. He loved the water, and, most importantly he enjoyed taking his sons, grandsons and great-grandsons fishing.
John made everyone who knew him laugh, cry and clap at all the stories he shared. There was no doubt that John Arebalo carried his heart on his sleeve, and he will forever be missed. Our family is grateful to know that he is finally at peace; where he awaits his beloved.
John is predeceased by his parents, siblings and son, Johnny Arebalo.
