Dennis Joseph Freeman was born in Inglewood, CA on April 8, 1947 and lost his battle with cancer and passed away on February 28, 2013 in Buena Park, CA. Denny was a 1965 graduate of Bellflower High School and following graduation served in the U.S. Navy on board the USS Chicago during the Vietnam conflict.
After his military service ended, Denny started his own business as an electrical contractor which he continued for over 30 years. Denny enjoyed golfing, fishing (especially in Mexico), traveling to see as much of the world as possible, and had an active social life.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann; his parents, Everett and Anita (Gulfport, MS); one son, Matthew, daughter in law, Kerri, two grandchildren, Logan and Sydnee, (all in Boulder City, NV), two brothers; Michael (San Diego) and David (Lake Elsinore), and two sisters; Mary (Gulfport, MS) and Anne (Olympia, WA).
Memorial services will be held at White's Funeral Home on March 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM. The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Memorial Foundation, In Memory of Dennis Freeman, P.O. Box 4138, Fullerton, CA 92835.
