Born October 19, 1956, in Bellevue, WA, she called Bellevue home until her parents moved to Hawaii and she moved to attend the University of Washington, graduating with a B.A. in Sociology and a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity. She broke ground as the first female outside window salesperson in the Seattle area. She was well known by clients for attention to detail, gentle honesty, and genuine relationships. Wendy resided with her family in Woodinville, where she was a long-time volunteer with the Skiperiors Jump Rope Team and Washington Cathedral.
Survivors include husband Ron, son Andy, daughter Becky, Mother-in-Law Ginnie Ogden, brother Paul Hammann and wife Chris. Niece Amy, husband Kyle Evans and great nephews Ethan and Declan. Niece Angela, husband Blake Williams, great nephew and niece Landon and Kendall. Nephew Paul Hammann and wife Sarah. Niece Jennie and husband Jason Jones. Half-Siblings Kalen Hammann and Clare Wettemann.
