Served in the US Navy in WWII on the Destroyer, USS Halford in the Pacific.
Received his college degree in Mechanical Engineering at Seattle University on the G.I. Bill program.
Stan worked at Boeing from 1950 - 1987. He married and had 4 children; Gloria, Ken, Beverly, and Dean.
He played the trombone in the Bellevue Community Band in the 1990's.
He dearly enjoyed square and round dancing from 1982 until a week before he passed away. Stan was a member of the Samena Square Dance Club in Kirkland for most of those years, and more recently a member of the Wagon Wheels, Ring-n-Swing, Dream Weavers, and Crosstrail Square Dance clubs in Kent.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (whom he married in 2007), his children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister Jean who lives in Oklahoma; his square and round dancing family; and many neighbors.
Stan was loved by many.
