Stanley G. Baker, Sr, age 98, passed away September 1, 2018 in Puyallup, Washington. He was preceded in death by his first wife Hazel of 48 years, and his daughter Kathleen who passed away in 1971. He was also preceded in death by his wife Ruth, his wife Marjorie and is survived by his current wife Shirley. He is also survived by his sons Stanley (Jerry), his wife JoAnn, and Ronald Baker; grandchildren Jerry, Bradly and Bryce Baker; great grandchildren Bailey, Katherine, Beckett, Andrew and Blake. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Stan was a family man and enjoyed all the children and grandchildren in his life. He was born in Sunnyside, Washington, lived in Bellevue from the time it was a farming community until the passing of his first wife. He returned to the Sunnyside-Yakima area and later in his life lived in Tacoma and Puyallup.
Stan was a proud Army veteran and received military honors at his burial at Sunset Hills Memorial Park on September 11, 2018.
