10/25/38 – 7/11/2011
Sheri is now embraced in God’s arms, wrapped in eternal peace and love, having passed away at her home in Redmond, WA.
She was born in Minot, ND to Reuben and Edna Lunceford. Growing up and living many years of her life in Spokane, WA, she also made her home in Hawaii and Redmond, WA, which brought her closer to her children.
Not afraid of hard work, she continually provided the best for her family, while also volunteering for many organizations throughout her life. She was thoughtful, kind, and a woman of tremendous strength and courage with a big smile.
Sheri was a proud mom and grandma. Loving life and people, she enjoyed spirited conversations, her country, debating politics, history, learning, country music, dancing, decorating, having her dessert first, her dog, and most of all, her family.
She is survived by her children – Kimberly (Anthony) Flores, Valerie (Brian) Zitzman, and Todd (Jennie) Hatch, grandchildren – Quentin, Marissa, Lauren, Kara, Kayla and Christopher, and brothers David and Loren Behrens.
Her caring and upbeat personality was a gift given to many. As a gift to her, let us honor her request that we “pass on that smile for me to all whom you pass, and always know God cares.”
A private memorial service to be held, with interment at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Visit www.sunsethillsfuneralhome.com to share remembrances. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Am. Cancer Society.
Arrangements under the direction of Sunset Hills Funeral Home, Bellevue, WA.
