Sandy was a really nice lady and my bonus Grandma. She sent me the weekly kids section of the newspaper from California every week. She made a very special photo album for me when I visited her and my Grandfather. She made everything she did and everyone around her feel special. I am sorry I took so long to reach out. She was a really good person.

I am sorry to hear of Sandy's passing.  I loved talking with her when calling in sales orders and she was just the best.  I remember sending her a Cincinnati Reds Ken Griffey baseball poster many years back that she really wanted for her grandkids.  She was a wonderful person.  God Bless.

My mom had a heart of gold. Being a single mother, she taught my sister and I how to be strong and how to survive in the world. But mostly, she gave us the gift of love for which I will hold precious forever. My life will not be the same without her but she is in my heart and I will always be grateful for such an amazing mother.

A very special candle is lit tonight for Sandra Williams from everyone who knows Patty Turrell and loves her so much!

Sandy was a dear friend of mine, whom I have known for 27+ years.  She and I worked together at Raytheon Marine Company in the 80's.  She later moved on to Icom America, and then so did I several years later.  I was so lucky to be able to work with her not at just one job but at two!  She was so happy to see me on my first day at Icom!  I sat right behind her in Customer Service.  She helped me with any questions that I had.  What a great feeling to know that someone was happy to see me and glad I was there.  She always made me feel that way.  I later moved to a new department,   but I always knew Sandy was there.  We would go to lunch on occasion.  She would call me up and say, “I want to take you to lunch today, my treat!”  She would pick me up in her white pick-up truck and we would go to Applebees.  At work she would email me or come by and see me.  She never left Icom without first stopping to talk to me before she went home to see how I was doing or what was new.  I had eventually moved to the HR department at Icom.  One day Sandy emailed me and said, “Today is Bring Your Dog to Work Day.  How come you didn't tell us?”  Meaning, since I was now in HR I should have known and set this up ahead of time.  She then said, in the email, “Wouldn't that be fun.”  Sandy loved her dogs, Tully and Scooter, and she loved all her kids at work (RMC and Icom – she had a lot!) and her own kids and grandkids at home.  She was a special friend to me and every day I am going to miss her.  She never forgot me and I will never forget her.  My deepest condolences to Cathy, Patty and all of her family.  
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived.  And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget – author unknown.

Aunt Sandy, I will miss you and all of the times we have had. I will always remember my first Mariner's game with you and how scooter ate a bag of little Jimmys chocolate donuts and how we thought that Scooter would not make it to the next day. you have been there for me and Wendy when we needed you, I will always remember and cherish our memories together.

I had the most wonderful times with my precious cousin, Sandy.  Years ago she would visit me in Ohio and I came out to Seattle often, and we always had the most fun.  I remember how hard she laughed when I drove the wrong way on a 1-way street and I said "but I'm only going 1 way."  I will miss Sandy and Scooter more than words can say.  Our family will never be the same without Sandy here...we shared so much.  I am so blessed to have had her as my cousin and dear friend.

I had the most amazing mother. I miss her. Life will not be the same without her. I am who I am today because of her. Cathy and I were such lucky kids to be raised by her. She made growing up fun. I will hold her precious in my heart forevermore.

My grandma was a great person, she was generous and loving. Wish I could have had more time wwith her but I know she is in a better place. I will miss her and her dog.

Sandy, I'll surely miss you.  We had our share of laughs during 20+ years together at Icom.  I'm sad we'll never again have our regular lunch dates at Burgermaster.  Though the memories are many, my favorite has to be how hard you laughed when Scooter dragged me around the house by the shoelaces that day.  RIP Sandy and Scooter.

I met Sandy through her daughter Cathy a few years ago. I remember her as laughing with us when we were putting baskets together and telling Cathy go get this and that for the baskets and we kept saying NO, NO, but she insisted all the time to help us out.  Sandy loved her dog (Scotter) so much He went too. She loved her daughters and grandchildren and they will all miss a wonderful lady. Julie Larson (Lynnwood, WA)

Sandy and I worked together at Raytheon Marine Company in Seattle in the mid 80's.  We were both Customer Service Reps at the national distribution center in South Park and we sat next to each other.  Sandy had a good sense of humor and was very creative with crafts.  I still use the Christmas wreath and several other decorations she made for me.  She also gave me a unique silver ring with a gray pearl in it that I treasure. Sincere condolences to her family....

Sandy was a blessing and I was very fortunate to have met this AMAZING lady at ICOM.  She was a BEAUTIFUL, positive lady that ALWAYS had a smile.  She will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Sandy and her loved ones.

I had the pleasure of working with Sandy for many years at ICOM. I was not sure about moving to the customer service department but she took me under her wings and showed me the ropes. She was such a strong, funny, and caring woman. I will miss her smile but know I will see her again in the next life. My prayers and thoughts are with her family.

Sandy was a great person and someone that will be missed by each and every person that was lucky enough to know her. To her family I send my sympathy and condolences for your loss. There is very few people in this world that touched as many lives in such a positive way as Sandy. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Sandy was very smart, kind, and friendly.  She also had a great sense of humor.  That's about the best I could say about anyone I know.  She was missed after her retirement here from Icom and even more so now I'm sure.

I was blessed to have worked with Sandy for over 10 years.  She called me "Kid" from the say I started until she retired.  I recall her attending a Christmas party and laughing when she told me that no matter what I did, I would ALWAYS be "Kid" to her.

Back then, it was really the ‘Sandy & Sharon Show' and they really set the pace for us all.  I remember when Sandy would challenge us to take care of as many Customers in a day that she could.  Often times our CSR's would take over 100 calls per day, with Sandy always being just a few more than that!  She worked very hard each and every day, raising the bar for us all…as I am sure all of you already know.  She clearly loved helping people, adored her family and we were all very lucky to have had the opportunity to share our lives with her.

Sandy was a great mentor to me and a larger than life personality that I will never forget.  I just want her family to know how much she meant to all of us at Icom. The memories of her will live on in my heart.  My condolences to the family who will miss her.

I met Sandy in January of 1991 when I started at Icom America. I can remember her as a strong person with a beautiful heart. I retired in 2001 and went to her retirement party. Sandy, you will always be in my memories.

I worked with Sandy from 1989 until 2001 at Icom America. I always liked her, she was a wonderful person and a great co-worker. I did not know much about her personal life other then we were both originally from Ohio. I am saddened at her passing the world has lost a good person.
