Bob was a thoughtful, kind and gentle colleague. He always brought wisdom and humor to the conversation at lunch in the dining room at Virginia Mason. I remember him as a compassionate physician and an insightful leader. He will be missed.

We moved in next door in 1999 and Bob and Beth were so welcoming it made us feel at home immediately.  We couldnt have asked for better neighbours.
Bob really cared about the environment and our community and helped with everything.    
We were lucky to have him as our friend.

Bob was a wonderful physician, a good friend, and a great asset to Virginia Mason.  His presence in this world is a sad loss for all of us.

I didn't know Bob very long, but I saw him frequently in the fitness center here at Timber Ridge.  He always had a smile and encouraging words.  He was a smart man who was active in our community, for which I am grateful.  He lived a full life.  I miss him.

I was fortunate enough to know Bob through our work together with Medina City government. He was one of the smartest, kindest, gentlest men  I've ever met. I could always count on him for great advice or counsel. I felt honored to carry on his work on the airport noise issue for a bit later on. He will be missed.

Bob was a wonderful man, a true mensch.  Jim and I always enjoyed our evenings together with Beth and Bob going to the Rep.  And it was fun to find out we unknowingly shared good friends from long ago!
