He was born April 9, 1937 in Windsor, Canada to the late Charles and Elizabeth Beck.
Dr. Beck's academic journey began at U of D Jesuit High School and continued through the University of Detroit and the University of Michigan. As a Doctor of Osteopathy specializing in Internal Medicine, he devoted his life to helping others.
He enjoyed staying fit throughout his entire life. He was an avid tennis and pickleball player, even winning a silver medal in pickleball doubles at the Arizona Senior Olympics. He was an avid sports fan and car enthusiast who enjoyed reading the daily newspaper and keeping up with current events.
Dr. Beck is survived by his wife Marlene of 48 years and their blended family of Joseph, Rachel, Leslie, Bridget, Charlie and Beth. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his two sisters, Catherine Rutledge and Gail Ronayne.
