Born on 10.23.31 in Worland, Wyoming. Peter is survived by Virginia (Gardea) wife of 67 years, Daughter Carla Kolytiris (Peter), Sons, David Gasca, Robert Gasca (Colleen), and Michael Gasca (Lori). Eight Grandchildren, Rebecca Rabaja (Jay), Tori Ardiente (Alex) Julia Gasca, Aaron Gasca, Olivia Gasca, Alli Gasca, Austin Gasca, and Abigail Gasca. Peter is survived by his siblings, Guadelupe, Julia, Paul, Alicia, Raymond, Carl, Eddy, Vicente, David, and Jose, including many special nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Peter was preceded in death by his Father, Salvador in 1952, Mother Petra (Medrano), 2010, Brother Salvador Gasca in 2011, Brother Jess Gasca in 2019, Brother Johnny Gasca in 2019, Sister Susan Mendez 2017, and Sister Mary Castaneda in 1986.
Peter was drafted into the military in 1950 and became an Army Sargeant serving in the Korean war.
Funeral mass services will be held at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Bellevue WA. Friday June 2, 2023, at 11am.
Peter will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent WA, following the funeral Mass at 1:30pm June 2, 2023. Peter will be given a military burial and send off for his service / tour in Korea 1952.
Reception to follow at the Tyee Yacht club on Lake union in Seattle WA.
