Patricia Ann Cvitkovic of Sammamish, WA, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born August 1, 1939, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Her parents relocated their small family to Seattle, WA, where “Patsy” grew up and became a big sister to Pamala and Shelley.
After high school, Pat stayed in Seattle, was a Seafair Princess in 1958, modeled in local fashion shows, worked as a bookkeeper, and met her husband of 61 years, John George Cvitkovic. John affectionately called her “Patrik” and referred to her as his “American Beauty”. Together they raised four children. Pat was a PTA and swim team mom, volunteered at church while the kids attended CCD, and spent countless hours driving her kids to music lessons and various athletic practices.
Pat enjoyed league bowling in her younger years, and later took up golf, a sport her husband was passionate about, and one that created opportunities to recreate together and meet new friends.
Pat was devoted to her husband, her kids, and grandkids. She hosted every major holiday for decades, and was happy to bring her extended family together to celebrate.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John; mother Agnes Eleanor (Gausvik) Thomas; father Winston Rhodes “Corky” Thomas; and great grandson Kaizen John Cvitkovic.
She is survived by her children John, Michelle, Marc and Jeff, sisters Pamala and Shelley, and five grandchildren.
We miss our mom and know she’s with our dad, reunited in the peace and love of our Lord.
Her family would like to thank EvergreenHealth Hospice Care and in particular, her hospice nurse Vickie, who treated mom with respect, care and compassion.
