Mom wasn’t handed an easy life, yet she found ways to keep going and keep smiling. She was elegant, generous and loving. She loved chocolate, pepsi and vanilla lattes. She was an excellent interior designer and avid gardener whose love for the earth and all living things was evident in her beautiful yard.
Katie is survived by her and Forest’s blended family of 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Lorraine, Sharlene and the caregivers at Sun Village Senior Care for their excellent care and compassion in the three years Katie lived there.
Throughout her life, Katie held an unwavering faith in God. A celebration of Life will be held in the Spring/Summer when the flowers are in bloom and the sun is shining. We love you Mom. Your suffering is over now!
