Just heard of Lloyd's passing.  Seems like only recently, my wife and I ran into Lloyd and Carol at  Cuistot in Palm Desert.  They were each in good spirits and looking forward to leaving the desert heat for the cooling climes of the Northwest.  Lloyd was a partner of mine at Arthur Andersen in Seattle.  He was always the most upbeat person.  His smile was contagious. He had a zest for life in everything he did. He was probably the only man I know who could keep up with Carol.  I will always be grateful for he and Carol watching over me in the desert  for a spell, after I lost my wife Liz in 2000.  I will always have a warm place in my heart for Lloyd he will be missed by many.
