Laurie Jean Lim

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Laurie J. Lim; her daughter, Kierra, was by her side. Laurie was born June 25, 1971, Tacoma, WA. She was preceded in death by her fiance’, Joseph Walker, Jr. and her mother, Linda Lim. She was the loving mother of Kierra, Seattle, WA; beloved sister of Kevin, Renton, WA; auntie of Brittney & Justice; colleague of the USI insurance company family and a dear friend to many.

Laurie’s favorite job was being Kierra’s mama ~ a job at which she excelled. She was a dedicated ‘rain or shine’ soccer mom. She was a fierce, independent, self-made woman, qualities that she encouraged & instilled in her daughter; Laurie & Kierra were complete together. Laurie was authentic, a creative & innovative thinker; she challenged boundaries & encouraged growth in others. She inspired us with her confidence, unwavering work ethic & quiet wisdom. She will be loved, missed & forever remembered.
