Kenneth Crooker, 82, passed away on June 29, 2016 in Renton, WA. He was born December 30, 1933, in Seattle, WA to loving parents William and Mary Crooker. He is survived by his wife Mellanie; sons Mike, Brian, and Tim; and seven grandchildren. Ken attended Bellevue High School from 1949 to 1952 where he was a three sport letterman. After attending college, he enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon completion of his military service, Ken returned to Bellevue. Ken enjoyed a successful 28 year career at the Port of Seattle. Although he spent the bulk of his retirement years in Florida enjoying golf and his growing family, he often returned to his home state. Ken relished the time spent in his home on Lake Washington boating, fishing, and sharing time with family. Graveside service is scheduled for 2:30pm, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 1215 145th Pl SE, Bellevue, WA 98007.
