

Jane was born to parents Frank and Gertrude Dearborn on May 21st 1923 in Seattle, Washington.
In the early 50’s, Jane had an active role in building the first hospital in Bellevue, which eventually became Overlake Memorial Hospital.
She was ardently engaged in Republican Politics throughout the 60’s and 70’s serving as President of Associated Republican Women, Vice Chairman of the King County Republican Central Committee, Alternate delegate to the National Republican Convention in 1964, and President of the Washington Federation of Republican Women among numerous other activities.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Bill Stripp (1944-1980) and Larry Turnbull (1982-2022) and by her brother, Will Dearborn.
She is survived by her son Mike Stripp (wife Sallie), daughter Becky Stripp, grandchildren Bethany Cullen (husband Joe), Sarah Stripp and Nathan Stripp, and two great granddaughters Lia and Elise. Jane is also survived by step children John, Nancy, and Jane (husband Mark), step granddaughters Erika (husband Adam) and Janna (husband Sean), and four step great-grandchildren Hank, Peter, Julie, and Graham.
Jane enjoyed traveling, singing in her church choir, spending time with friends at her retirement center (Emerald Heights in Redmond, WA) and she especially loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
