Helen Helen Jacobson

Edna "Helen" Jacobson was born in Fruita, Colorado on January 17 1923. She married Clyde Jacobson in Glenwood Springs, Colorado in 1940. They had two daughters Sharon and Alene. The family lived in California before moving to Washington. Clyde worked at Boeing and later Helen worked as a bookkeeper at Kmart. Clyde preceded her in death in 1977. Helen enjoyed quilting, sewing and tatting. She made several beautiful pieces. Helen enjoyed traveling around the US, especially going to the Washington and Oregon coast. Her and her sister Wilma went to Alaska just the two of them in 1989. They had quite the adventure 2 "old ladies" traveling alone in an over the cab camper. She was much loved by everyone who knew her always giving them a sweet smile. Helen and Alene had season tickets to the Mariners for over 10 years. She loved to watch them when they were winning or losing. She is survived by her sister Wilma Morgan, her daughters Sharon Erickson ( Bill ) and Alene, grandchildren Alan ( Gina), Angela (Jamie) and Ann, great grandchildren Jeremy and Kyle. Helen and Alene lived 13 years in Glenwood Springs so Helen could be near her sister Wilma. The last 22 years Helen and Alene lived together in Preston, Washington.

Helen passed away October 26, 2014 at age 91 in Issaquah.
