George Riley Curry, 91, Born in Davenport, IA July 17, 1920. Died Oct. 18, 2011 in Seattle. Survived by Sally De La Vergne of Seattle and her children Linda, Michael and Steven, as well as his children Victoria, Daniel, Timothy, Patrick, Michael, Matthew, Peter (with first wife Mary Louise 'Marian' Rauch-Curry, deceased), 8 grandsons, and sister Mary Lou Walker of Minneapolis. Riley was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran who made careers in both air and freight industries in WA, AK, CA and Japan. He finished his career at McChord AFB, Tacoma in 1989. In later years, he was active with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Puget Sound Garden Railway Society, the Lazarus Day Center and other Catholic charities. He will be missed. Memorial service 12:00 noon, Friday, Oct. 28th at St. Madeleine Sophie Catholic Church, Bellevue, WA.
