She met her husband Hiroshi in 1964 while he was visiting Japan to see the 1964 Olympics where they were married and came to live in the Queen Anne Hill neighborhood of Seattle Washington.
Fukiko is survived by sons Douglas Ito and Kenneth Ito, sister in-laws, Akiko (Toshio) Ito, Ritsuko (Sakuji) Suzuki, Takako (Masaaki) Suzuki, Kimiko (Hiroo)Suzuki and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Hiroshi Ito, her parents Chogoro and Saki Suzuki, brothers Sakuji Suzuki, Masaaki Suzuki, Hiroo Suzuki and sister Tamiko Tada.
Immediate family will hold a private memorial according to her wishes.
