Eric was a fantatic person, he came to my life to give it sparkle when I need it the most. He was so kind with me and also with my dog. I remember he took us hiking and also to Twin Peaks to have a little treat, that place was super special to him. He believed in me when I told him I wasn't sure to be booked for Seattle Fashion Week so he helped me to do a photoshoot with his amazing photography skills so I could get a chance getting booked for a runway. He loved tennis,  and classic and interesting films. He was proud of his work in the movies he always was talking about that and teaching you facts in how takes are done. He also was a world traveler and when he mention his adventures always mesmerized me. We went party once and he wasn't that confortable, was very shy, but we dance until our feet hurt.  I will be forever and ever grateful for his friendship and the time we had together. It saddens me he is not longer in this world because he was a light among us.

This was sad to discover. Eric was a very kind person, who deserved to be cared for and to find love. He was a kind and caring friend with a lot of ambition and care for others. He was selfless. He was smart and very passionate about film. In Ireland while working there he visited Skellig Michael, the UNESCO world heritage site - not just because of its famous puffins but because it was the filming site of Star Wars. He loved Star Wars! We visited Newgrange together where we learnt about how it is a special place to visit for the Winter Solstice because of the illumination of its passage and chamber by the rising sun. Fitting because Eric was a light for his friends. He was positive, funny, and supportive of others. 
He also said things that rung very true to me such as "a dog is a reflection of its owner."
I hope that he never had to feel lonely, and that he always felt loved.

We were devastated to learn that Eric, one of the most delightful spirits we have known, is now lost to those who knew him and to the world. The news did not reach us until very recently and the void Eric's death leaves is not something we will adjust to. I would be grateful to hear from Eric's family so we might complete the film documentary he had nearly finished. Profound condolences, Whit Stillman
