Edith Grace Haub was born November 18,1927, in Washington, PA to George Robert Haub and Edna Marguerite Manss Haub. Edith graduated from Ohio State University in 1949 with a BSc degree in home economics and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She returned to Ohio State for teaching credentials in 1950-51. Edith taught home economics and English early in her career, and later worked for many years at Hubbard’s Interiors in Bellevue. She was active in the Daughters of the Nile and the Eastside Home Economics Club.
Edith was predeceased by her husband Charles R. Senff (1918-2009) son Alan R. Senff (1958-1994) and sisters Dorothy Louise Haub (1923 – 1931) and Edna Ruth Haub Lamppert (1930-2018). She is survived by her children Christi Senff Miller of Hopkinton, MA, Daphne L. Senff of Ladysmith, BC and Bryce G. Senff of Bellevue, WA as well as grandchildren Meredith Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Kathryn Schertzer, and Charles Schertzer.
A graveside ceremony will be held April 23, 2024, 2:30pm at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue, WA. Remembrances gratefully accepted to the Shriners Hospital for Children, the Dementia Society of America, or the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
